My journey has taken me through roles where I was expected to deliver results with lean resources, tight deadlines, and high stakes. In those moments, values are tested—when pressure mounts, when voices aren’t heard, and when burnout seems inevitable. It was through working in those real‑world situations that I realized what matters most: alignment, emotional honesty, and courageous leadership rooted in integrity.

With Trailside Consulting, I help leaders unlock their potential through custom coaching, leadership development, and culture transformation. I believe in creating spaces where clarity turns into action, where strategy and humanity intersect.

In building the Leadership Lab, I wanted something more: a self‑paced, values‑rooted platform so that nonprofit leaders—regardless of where they are or what capacity they have—could access tools, coaching prompts, and community to grow on their own rhythm. The Lab is for those who are tired of formulas and jargon, and who want real, usable frameworks, reflection tools, and peer support.

Trailside Consulting LLC was founded by Pearl Bell with a mission to nurture leaders and teams through empathy, inclusivity, and emotional intelligence. We work with nonprofit organizations, purpose-driven teams, and emerging leaders who want growth that’s sustainable—not superficial. 

Our core strengths center on:

Why “Trailside”?

The name Trailside evokes a journey: sometimes steep, always outdoors, and sometimes with traps — but also beautiful, navigable, and full of discovery. We believe leadership is like hiking a trail: you don’t always have perfect gear, but clarity in direction, good support, and occasional rest make all the difference.

Trailside is more than services; it’s a compass to help you stay aligned when under pressure, a map when you feel lost, and a community when you need rest.

I design experiences—not just courses—that equip people to:

• name their core values and actually live them

• navigate conflict with clarity rather than avoiding or over-apologizing

• build trust in their teams so that accountability, vision, and care walk hand in hand

Through Trailside Consulting, I support executives, program leads, and nonprofit founders to sharpen their leadership with tools that are practical (not academic), sustainable (not overwhelming), and deeply human.

With the Leadership Lab, I’m making this work accessible: a self-paced, values-rooted platform for those who show up every day, often without all the support, but always with heart. My hope is that Lab members feel seen, empowered, and equipped—not just to lead—but to lead well.
